Why Boulder?

I fell in love with this place the same way I fell in love with Oahu — not for the postcard views (though there are plenty), but for how it makes people feel. There’s a slower, softer energy here that translates beautifully into photos: kids running barefoot through open fields, golden light hitting the Flatirons at 6pm, that particular Colorado blue sky that doesn’t exist anywhere else.

Locations I’m shooting right now

• Chautauqua Park — the classic Boulder backdrop, with the Flatirons as your golden-hour backdrop

• NCAR — sweeping mountain views and dramatic architecture, great for families who want something a little more editorial

• Eldorado Canyon — dramatic red rock and a quieter, more adventurous feel for couples and families who love the outdoors

Whether you’re picturing a sunrise hike-in session or a relaxed evening in the park with your kids, these spots each bring something different — happy to help you figure out which one fits your family’s vibe.

I’m looking for a few portfolio models

If you’ve been wanting professional family, maternity, or couple photos and don’t mind being part of a portfolio-building session (think: reduced rate or TFP-style collaboration, depending on the shoot), I’d love to hear from you. This is a great way to get gorgeous, high-end photos at a fraction of the usual investment, while I build out my Colorado galleries.

Open to: families with young kids, expecting parents, couples, and anyone who wants genuine, unposed, cinematic photos rather than stiff smile-at-the-camera portraits.

Based in Boulder, still shooting Oahu

For anyone wondering — yes, I’m still very much part of the Oahu photography scene too. My team there continues to shoot stunning sessions at Kualoa Ranch, Lanikai, Ko Olina, and Sandy Beach, while I handle every consultation and personally edit every gallery from both locations. Two islands (well — one island, one mountain range), one studio, same signature look.
